What is Duroc Pork?

The Duroc breed was developed in the U.S. originating in 1850 from crosses of Jersey Red and New York's older Duroc. First appearing in shows in the 1950's Duroc pigs, known for their reddish brown and golden yellow color, and are prized for their hardiness and quick muscle growth.

As a fourth-generation business, retaining family values and strong leadership in the niche pork markets are important aspects for the family name. All our pork is raised with Duroc genetics without antibiotics and added hormones, is raised crate-free and vegetarian-fed on Midwest farms. All of our Duroc pork products are prepared, processed, and packaged to the strictest standards at our Premium Iowa Pork facility in Hospers, Iowa.
