Baked Italian Pork Meatballs


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Meyer Heritage Duroc Pork 80/20 Ground Pork
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 1 1/2 tbsps Fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.

3. Mix the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl using clean hands.

4. Shape the meat mixture into about 20 meatballs.

5. Place the meatballs in a single layer on the baking sheet.

6. Bake for 15 minutes or until browned and cooked through. 

7. Serve over spaghetti with marinara sauce. Enjoy!
